Wellspring is a busy church with something for everybody.
These are our regular events for children and young people, look out for occasional and one off events on our special events page
Wellspring takes safeguarding very seriously and has a robust policy in place, following guidance issued by the Methodist Church.
All leaders and volunteers hold current DBS certificates and undertake periodic safeguarding training.
Every Tuesday morning during term time our worship space is transformed into a toddler zone with mats and play equipment for little people from 0 – 4. Parents, grandparents and carers can enjoy a chat over coffee and cake, and the session always ends with a story. A small donation of £2.00 per family group is invited.
Tuesday 9.30 – 11.00 a.m.

Older than Scouting, the Brigades are a Christian uniformed organisation and part of our Church. Here primary aged children will learn about Christian values in a fun and entertaining way with an emphasis on fun and friendship. There are opportunities to attend adventure days and camps, as well as learn plenty of new skills.
Tuesdays 6pm.
A monthly invitation to ‘wander and wonder’ in a variety of outdoor settings, reflecting upon the things of God in an interactive way. An intergenerational event, popular with families.

Every summer we have a wild day in at Wellspring! With a special Little Springs session, games and crafts in our hall, wonderful food in our kitchen and then a children’s entertainer in the afternoon. If that’s not enough we finish with ICE CREAM!

The last few years we have held a 3-day summer holiday club for primary aged children following Scripture Union material. The latest one was called Deep Sea Divers where together we explored the depths of the oceans, whilst thinking about what it is like to ‘go deeper’ into Christian faith. This is a morning club with optional lunch.
