Wellspring is a busy church with something for everybody. These are our regular events, look out for occasional events in Coming Up / What’s Happening?
Memory Cafe
A time for those who suffer from dementia, with or without carers, to be together in a safe environment with food & chat, games & craft, music & singing. Supported by a wonderful group of volunteers.
Memory Café – 2nd Monday of each month 2.00 – 4.00 p.m.
Coffee Stop
A popular venue for a hot drink and a chat on Market Day, and with Amazing Cakes…
Tuesday mornings from 9.30 – 11.30 a.m.
All are welcome
Little Springs
Stay & play for parents / carers with babies and toddlers, and with refreshments.
Tuesday morning (during term time) from 9.30 - 11.00 a.m.
Prayer Zone
An opportunity to gather weekly for prayer, usually online but with a Prayer Walk around our town once a month.
Wednesdays at 9.00 a.m.
Easy Meals
All are welcome to join us for a sumptuous 3-course meal served in our community hall. There is no charge, but donations are received. Simply turn up, all are always welcome.
The last Thursday of each month from 5.30p.m.
Repair Cafe
In partnership with Grassroots Wirksworth, our Repair Café has become immensely popular within our community. Specialist repairers will tackle sewing, gluing, sharpening, small electricals and other items. Just turn up, book in, enjoy some refreshment in our café, and leave a donation.
First Saturday of each month from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Amen Only
A new venture aimed at creating space for men to meet socially with no particular agenda. An evening drink, an Indian meal, a Saturday Breakfast so far… with more ideas in the pipeline.
